What is an airless pump bottle and how does it work?

You can see it may look similar to our cream pump that we have used in the past. But if you see more clearly, you will find that under the surface the airless pump bottle design is a bit different. The biggest difference is that there are no tubes or straws inside to force the cream out of the bottle. In this way, the delivery by means of an airless pump is hygienic, efficient and simple. What’s the benifts of using an airless bottle for skincare prodcuts?

1.It is very hygienic.The vacuum is designed to prevent skin care products from coming into contact with too much oxygen, thereby protecting the product from contamination. The inside of the vacuum bottle has no straws and tubes, but bases the application of the product on  air intake systems and vacuums, which inhibits microbial growth and keeps your products fresher longer.

2.It is able to make full use of the products. The bottle utilizes a vacuum system, and when you press, a piston at the bottom sends the product up. This prevents the products from being left at the bottom of the bottle and not being fully used.

3.Simple to use, recyclable and consistent. By pressing the pump head, you get a reliable metered quantity of product to ensure consistent application. And when you run out of product, you can use a tool to bring the piston back into place so the bottle can be reused.

Can airless bottles only be used for lotions?

Airless bottles can be used not only for lotions and creams, but also for water. Many types airless bottles also have mist sprayer pump choice to choose (You can check our following picture for example). This further satisfies our diverse needs for vacuum bottles. Even the types of lotion pumps are diverse.


 

What do I need to pay attention to when reusing the vacuum bottle

If you are near the very end of your product then yes, you can unscrew the cap to get out the last remaining cream. When the product is completely used up, if you want to prime the same product, you can use a cotton swab (don’t use your fingers) to push the plunger back into place and prime the product into the bottle. When you want to prime other products, we recommend that you clean the bottle thoroughly before use to prevent chemical reactions between different products.
